Los Angeles FOOD & WINE, The Taste

Some of the words that come to mind when describing the The Taste L.A. would be chic, organized, vibrant, and most certainly unforgettable.
Hanging tea lights, draw prizes and a live punk- mariachi band were just a few of the ingredients used to help bring out the magic of the tasteful night. I was able to sample some tasty food selections, but I must admit my favourite part was savoring an impressive assortment of premium drinks that I’ve always wanted to try. Los Arango, Hornitos, Svedka, Chopin and Beluga were just a few of the delicious blends I had sampled.
The people, the food, the drinks all kept the night flowing with not a second of dullness.
The Taste L.A. was tastefully set up in the confines of the popular Paramount Studios where magic always happens, and it certainly did for everyone attending that night.
The night was full of surprises. There was quick access to the food and alcohol vendors, and the best part was the crowd, it wasn’t stuffy or pompous (something that can usually be expected at these types of events. (Oops, did I say that?)
The fashion at this event ranged from casual jeans and a sweatshirt to the mega hair with stilettos. No matter what you were rocking, the food and drinks kept on pouring, and that was good enough for me.
If I could change one thing about the event it would have to be the registration line up. A lot of people seemed puzzled why there even was a long line up, it seemed a little jumbled before entering.
Overall, I rank this event 4.5/5
The Taste offered live entertainment, a beautiful venue and most importantly the opportunity to try premium alcohol with food samples from some the most impressive chefs in L.A.
The Taste definitely brought their A-game and I’m glad to have experienced my first Taste event in L.A.
